Every stage of your matter has a written, fixed quote before work starts. Where the shape of the case makes fixed pricing impossible (a fully contested court case, for example), we tell you upfront and cap our hourly rate.

Domestic abuse cases
Non-molestation and occupation orders are eligible for Legal Aid in most cases, with a wider means threshold than other family matters.
Children matters
Public law children cases (e.g. care proceedings) and some private law children matters can attract Legal Aid on limited means.
MIAM & mediation
The Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting is free of charge to the party on Legal Aid, and both first mediation sessions can be free.
