Parking
No dedicated court parking. Canary Wharf NCP car parks are the nearest options, expect £15+ for a half day. Public transport is strongly preferred.
Getting there
Westferry (DLR) is a 3 minute walk. Canary Wharf (Jubilee line and Elizabeth line) is 8 minutes away. Overground and c2c passengers change at Limehouse or Stratford.
Security
Airport-style screening at ground floor reception. Allow 20 minutes to reach the 6th floor at busy times. Phones must be on silent throughout the hearing.
Facilities
Modern building with proper waiting areas and separate rooms available on request for parties who need to be kept apart. Cafes and shops are plentiful in the surrounding Canary Wharf estate.
Courtroom etiquette
Smart business dress. Stand when the judge enters or leaves. Address a District Judge as 'Judge', a Circuit Judge as 'Your Honour', and a High Court Judge as 'My Lord' or 'My Lady'. No recording or photography.
